So am I reading too much into this to note the two different woods? The tame, refined, nurtured wood on the fiddle that’s been cared for and maintained like a precious metal and the wild, unmanaged, aged wood on the door that’s been left to the elements and the relentless assault of the world.
You know…..kind of like Van Damme and his twin in Double Impact.
