I’ve been through quite a few chorus pedals trying to find one I did not hate. It finally occurred to me to go back to the classics, and yep, that’s the chorus I was looking for. Now I kind of want to build a whole board out of Boss and MXR.

There is a longer story about my Les Paul Jr project guitar at moronosphere.com (link in bio) but short version, I got a cheap replica LPJ from vintage guitars but it showed up with a cracked neck, so it went back, and I pivoted to a similar version from Harley Benton, which looks and sounds better at half the price. It’ll get upgrades, and learning how to do setup myself.
