I had no idea how deep the rabbit hole was when I

I had no idea how deep the rabbit hole was when I started thinking about resonators. I played 6-7 different ones at guitar center and then two more at my friend Tyler’s shop (@diamondmusicguitars ). Each one utterly different, even if they appear the same. The more I learn the less I know. So far my favorites are a recording king style o Hawaiian biscuit bridge, which has that really bright metallic sound (but with a very nice tone), and one of the two spider bridge dobros (recent models but used) pictured. I’m still trying to lay hands on a tricone for comparison’s sake (no shops near me seem to have one). But right now it’s a bit of a coin flip which I prefer, since the ones pictured are just so different.

I’ve been through quite a few chorus pedals trying to find one I did not hate. It finally occurred to me to go back to the classics, and yep, that’s the chorus I was looking for. Now I kind of want to build a whole board out of Boss and MXR.

Well, the board is getting there in terms of order and layout, only I just decided to bite the bullet and get a switcher cause I’m tired of fighting noise problems from pedals that are not even on. So it’s all gotta be moved around as soon as the @thegigrig quartermaster shows up. 🤷‍♂️
