yeah, I knew that.

This just in – the doctor tells me I’m sick. That’ll be a hundred simoleons, please. Thanks, doc. At least it’s not a sinus infection. The downside is, no pass-go-collect-two-hundred-dollars pills. The upside is, I don’t have to take antibiotics, which is always a good thing. His prescription? Sleep. Thanks, doc, I’ll get right on […]

His prescription? Sleep.

Thanks, doc, I’ll get right on that.

  1. Sleep works, but that coffee and whisky regimen is fucking it up for you. I know the deal, it’s the poor man’s speedball. You need a couple drams at night to stop twitching from the coffee, you sleep like shit, you need more caffeine the next day. And your metabolism is running on fumes.

Dial back on the caffeine. Not completely, you’ll just get withdrawals, but try to cut it in half, esp. the after-lunch half. Knock off the booze for a while…it calms you down but it completely fucks up your sleep cycles. Stay off the computer late at night, just get in bed early with a book. For the foreseeable future. It’ll suck the first few nights, then it will start to take.

And take your vitamins. Eat right. You need to just get yourself physically centered again, before your emotional state can follow suit.
