It’s a funny list, and I’m unsure if I much agree with it. Damn good conversation starter though. And if you’re a big reader (and you know you are, yeah, I’m talking to you), take a look at Darrell’s site which is dedicated to books and reading.

  1. BWAHAHA!

The Reader’s List is so awful it’s funny. 7 out of the top 10 are either Ayn Rand or L. Ron Hubbard. 7 out of the Top 100 are Heinlein. And how does Tom Clancy rate in the top 100 at all? Stephen King gets in twice? Good lord, where did they manage to dig up such a pathetic bunch of pimply-faced Randroid sci-fi fanboy dorks to survey?

  2. So given my last comments, what does it say about me that I’ve read 22 from the Reader’s List, but only 12 from the Board List?

Sigh…if only I didn’t have to spend so much time reading about fucking Java…

  3. Ray, since you live in Texas maybe you can appreciate the absudity of it. Read “Vernon God Little” by D.B.C. Pierre. Won the Booker Award in 2003.
