I’ve hit one of those damned creativity lulls where I it down to write several times during the day and stare at the blank, mocking screen. I’m not sure why — possibly it’s that I actually have the germ of an idea for a story, which I’m a paragraph into but haven’t had TIME to work on. But maybe that’s where all the energy is going.

Well shit, somebody needs to write something. It’s too early for the summer doldrums but everybody seems to be going quiet on me.
Come on, people, I’ve got two weeks of overtime to put in here, I need my distractions!
Tell me about it, man. I finally got myself writing again this morning only the 3rd or 4th entry this month, I think — and it was like pulling teeth for the first 15 minutes.
Of course, then I wrote an entry roughly the length of a Classical Greek Epic, but those first 3 paragraphs were agony…

I just got home to find the same mess of half-completed domains I had left…only now I don’t remember why I started doing things certain ways, can’t remember how I did certain things, and am bewildered by the prospect of tackling it all at once. That’s unmotivation.
So I thought I’d click on over and see what was new in the Moronosphere. Nice to know I’m not alone. 🙂
