This is too cool not to share
Kids today have all the coolest stuff. Playstations, scooters, LEGO robots.
They even get colored braces.
Liam got his yesterday, and in keeping with the season (and because everything that Dad thinks is cool, Liam thinks is cool), he picked out some nice Mardi Gras ones:

I am SOOOOO glad you posted this! I can maybe show my daughter that Mom's not trying to trick her into something "wierd" with that braces "thing".

I got braces when I was 19...got them off at 23. Liam's lucky to get them earlier in life.
After 5 years of not wearing the retainer like a good little post-braces girl, I have to get braces again. I thought about getting those invisalign ones, but I think it would be fun to have the old school ones again. Last time I got clear brackets...sure I'll do the same this time. Somehow, I think colored brackets are much cuter on little kids.

OMG, braces! Hahaha, he'll do fine with them. Awesome colour choices. I got braces in 7th grade and got them off in 9th; the best part about having braces is choosing the colours. I think my favourite combo was alternating black and neon green. :P Kinda miss my braces but hey, at least I still have my purple glitter retainer. :D Anyone tries to tell Liam that braces are lame are *way* wrong (and their teeth are ugly ;).

Wow...my kid's way younger than Liam and she's already waaaaay out of the "everything mom thinks is cool" stage.
I think she outgrew it at 2.
