Pets welcome
Just in case you're looking at TS Dean, and looking at your pets, and looking at Dean again, and thinking that your brother really probably doesn't want you showing up on his doorstep with a dog and a cat and a mother-in-law and a mother-in-law's cat, you should check out petswelcome.com.
This site gives you a searchable database of hotels that allow pets. Technically, I believe the hotel industry has agreed that they'll waive "no pets" rules during evacuations, but I'd just as soon be going to a place that always allows pets so that I don't have to have that argument with a confused front desk clerk after spending 10 hours in the car getting to Baton Rouge.
