Nine cocunut custard pies!

So an offhand email remark about the yipyipyipyipyip aliens from Sesame Street has gotten out of hand and migrated to Hiromi's blog, where she has gone on to harder stuff like the Ladybug Picnic.

Well, little girl, I see your Ladybug Picnic and raise you one Counting Pie Guy.

Counting Pie Guy really needs to find a new line of work. Balancing dessert items while standing importantly at the top of a short flight of stairs doesn't seem to be his forté.

When I was a kid, that used to drive me nuts -- I wanted pie, dammit!

When I was a kid, I used to act along. I'd climb up on the back of the couch with an armload of whatever toys were lying around, and then when he fell I'd jump off the couch and send the toys flying.

I never broke anything.

What was sesame street doin' in yer tightie-whities?

Well, that was where the party was...

I wonder if that was a set or an actual locale. It would so rock to go buy some pastries and pose in front of that door.
