Hi, my name is Ray
"Now you might not be able to sing it out loud, but you can hum it to yourself, and you know what the words are..."
I didn't write it, but I could have. I really could have.

Not many blogging on the hugeness of the experience we shared on Monday night.
It surpasses anything that can come from my keyboard.
I can talk about stats.
I cannot talk about the enormous flood of emotions and fully express what happened.
Ashley tries to.
It was family. It was a crowning. It was a long time coming.

"Shook Me All Night Long" came on right after he said his last word on my iTunes, and it was the most perfect transition ever.

shit ray you should have been a doctor.
that song kept me from whipping my crackhead boss's ass today. i mean seriously this guy smokes crack all night comes to work and sleeps in his office all day while on the clock.
he had the balls to stumble out of his office and get in my face today because the g.m. called him to the carpet yesterday.
i was ready to "kick somebodys ass" i was so pissed i punched the stainless steal door to the reach in and put a huge dent in it. when i looked at my knuckle it was turning these pretty colors and swelling up nicely. i calmly walked over to the ice machine put some ice on it, and the swelling went down nicely. i started humming the ray song and couldnt stop smiling and laughing for the rest of my shift. my boss kinda freaked and shuffled off muttering something about he wasnt gonna write me up after all.
that song and that chunk of ice healed my body , mind and soul. thanks doc.
