Final tattoo photos
One of the last things I did before I left Austin was to finally get my tattoo finished. I was supposed to get it wrapped up on August 30 of last year, but, well, something came up. You may have read about it in the papers.
Chris Trevino of Perfection Tattoo did the design and execution. These are the "official" photos taken at his shop.
And I'm on his schedule to start the other sleeve in February.

It looks great, Ray. We talked about this at the Geek Dinner. It's beautiful. As for me, I don't believe there's such a thing as "finished" when it comes to tatoos. ;)

I think it's hideous.
Just kidding. Is that a black swan? If so, that's one of the coolest things I've seen. Nassim Taleb who wrote "Fooled by Randomness" has a book called "Black Swan" coming out soon.

Yeah, a black swan. It's the clan totem of the Uí Séaghdha clan in Ireland. I didn't want an Irish tattoo, though, since I'm more a fan of traditional Japanese styles. The artist agreed to do it even though you'd never see a black swan in a Japanese tattoo, it'd usually be a crane.

Those are really cool. Went looking for some pictures of you with tattoos, but you had too many pictures up. Was talking with Karl about some really awesome ones I saw last week. Looked like they had blended all the colors of the sunset into the guys arm- and then some.
