Adorable but sad
This story really tugs at the old parental heartstrings:
DELAND, Fla. -- An 8-year-old DeLand girl reported missing was found by police riding her bike as fast as she could to leave the state of Florida, fearing a massive Hurricane Dean was on its way.
My two wee ones are just getting used to the whole hurricane season experience, so I can relate, although the only real problem so far is keeping them out of the emergency supply of Double-Stuffed Oreos in the hurricane box.
