This link here takes you to a webapp that gives you flood depth information just by clicking on a map of New Orleans. It uses Google maps combined with satellite and LIDAR data to give an average flood depth within a 100×100 foot region around the point where you click.

This is really cool, since it gives you a real number instead of just fuzzy satellite photos.
I spot-checked it with my brother’s eyewitness report of the water depth at his house in Old Metairie and it was pretty close to accurate.
