I'm both shocked and entranced. I love books to the point that they've become almost totemic to me, but Brian Dettmer mutilates them beautifully.

Unusable books are a little like the flag. You should hold them in high esteem and do dispose of them properly. It looks like this guy has done a pretty good job of it.
