Another reason to wear a helmet
Or are birds just afraid of Harley riders? Or maybe they hate crotch rockets.
Ick. I'm going to carry some Handi-wipes in the storage compartment.
Had a great ride this morning, by the way. Thanks for all your kind comments yesterday. Actually, that's progress in two ways: lesson learned while riding, and asking for support.

You have to imagine the bird going home, and twittering to his wife and hatchlings about managing to hit a motorcycle helmet. Then he pulls out a twig and some berry juice, and adds a little motorcycle to the line of cars painted on the side of the nest...

Having gotten the same treatment sans helmet. I can sympathize.

In my family, they always said this was a sign of good luck. I thought that stereotype was widespread. No? Maybe it's just a Jewish thing?
If you want to adopt it, you can say that the bird just gave you a lucky helmet.

This is one of those funny little things I didn't anticipate. Another thing -- during my ride this morning, my nose began to itch, but I was totally SOL.
Yeah, I think I *will* adopt the lucky-bird-poop thingy. I have been blessed!
