....but not a drop to drink. True. My kitchen has been dry for two days now. The bathroom's not much better; Turned on the shower yesterday morning and had to wait five minutes while rust and particulates cleared out of the pipes.
Ew.
I know this sounds ungrateful and whiny when there's an entire coast of America - just for starters - that was recently underwater. But everything's relative, and I'd like it to stop raining now, thanks.
I also did another Less Nessman update, because I was bored and because I wanted to check out the new toy Karl Gave me. I also backedited so that when you clicked on links they went to the place that drove the text as opposed to some random crap.
I discovered two things: firstly, that it's really hard to trim prose down to a mere hundred words, and that alone is a good excercise. Secondly, I learned that contractions are my friend.
