Crowded House, last night, Mountain Winer above Saratoga, CA.
The air was smokey from the massive grass file in the Cupertino hills, but it didn’t stop the band from playing a fantastic set. I wish I had tickets to a second night – and when we realized how good our seats were, we really, rally wished we’d brought more than phone cams. This is how close to me, I didn’t enlarge or crop this pic.
These guys a great live. They made a fan out of me.
A phone cam takes pictures of that quality from any distance? Damn… Another point for Apple…
Wasn’t even my iphone, this was from a krzr, which has a decent camera. I was busy grooving and didn’t think to take pictures.

Syl, typically, I fucked that up and didn’t get tickets. The only reason I went to CH is that my buddy Chris bought ‘em. He has a way of buying too many tickets to everything, which is how I saw Spiritualized a few years back, and how I’ve got to a lot of Todd Rundgren shows.
