Anyone out there set up to convert VHS tape to some sort of digital format? I’ve got a tape I need to transfer to some sort of high-res digital video format (quicktime or some such).

Hey Karl. Now the easiest way to do this is with a DVD recorder. But I think they’re a waste of money. So…of course you have a Digital Video Camera don’tcha?If not,beg,borrow or steal one like the good pirate ye be. Hook the A/V cords from your camera to your VCR outputs.Change A/V settings in camera menu to line In. Turn camera to Play. Play your VCR,if you see a picture on your viewfinder punch Rec. and away ya go. Mess around & you’ll work it out.
